Our robot

Our robot Mafia Jones has gone through lots of variations throughout the season. From the start of the season we had made diagrams and drawings for the design our robot, but as we met challenges we had to find ways around them and fix the problems. The main problems were consistently with our outtake throughout most of the season. We went through two main variations of the outtake, one was a hooded shooter and the other was a turret style outtake. Neither were the greatest but we made due and managed to keep scoring points eve with our outtakes never working to their fullest potential. Now that we are on our off season we have decided to take a new approach to building the robot. The team had decided to make the bot extremely modular so we can take parts off fast and fix them or replace them. We decided to 3D print most of the pieces and we choose for a 16x16 inch wooden plate so we can screw the 3D printed parts into the wooden base plate.
